This is another glacier picture from our Alaska honeymoon. Looking forward to seeing more of these next week. :)

Then and Now

The last time I saw a glacier calve into the ocean, I was on this ship at about 61 deg N latitude in Glacier Bay, Alaska. It was our honeymoon, July 2000. This is the ship we were on, the Sea Princess. In about a week and a half, I will be at about 55 deg S latitude watching glaciers calve into the ocean in Patagonia. No cruise ships will be present, but it will still be very, very cool.
