We've had some great sunsets during the last month. Something about fall in Texas really produces great light shows. Usually, we're in the car on the way home from work when we see these, so there are always power lines in the way. This particular sunset was seen from the Wendy's parking lot as we were headed up to volunteer for Elves and More, pictured in the last post.
Last week Cari, Bini, Gavin, and I volunteered for Elves and More. The group distributes bikes to needy children. We were assembling some of the bikes. The Reliant Center halls A and B were quite full of bikes and boxes.
This is one of those pictures that I don't think much of at first, and then one day I look at it and just love it. I took this picture of Sarah sitting on a rock at Chasm Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. What suddenly struck me about it is the scale it provides. I guess I got used to looking at those huge sheer walls and forgot how incredible they were. Sarah is looking at "The Diamond" on Long's Peak. Behind her, you can see Mt. Meeker.
Sarah is my subject again, modeling one of the best T-shirts available. She found this when we were in Kansas City, Missouri for our friend Matt's wedding.
I haven't been posting much lately, I know. What can I say, December sucks!
