Campfire


Gavin took this of me on our camping trip to Lost Maples in February. I thought it came out very well. It was pretty wet out that night. It was never really raining, but it was misting and foggy. This made star gazing a bit tough, but there were a couple times when it cleared up a bit. Gavin took this in one of those times. The dogs thought he was going nuts lying on the ground like that.

This is a marvelous photo! I am fascinated that the moonlight and firelight work together and compliment each other's role.

I enjoyed a very cold Christmas in Lost Maples a few years ago, with dogs, too. It was a freezing cold blast!
